Our training course is based on Tony Stoltzfus’ book, Leadership Coaching: The Disciplines, Skills, and Heart of a Christian Coach. A workshop launches our eight-week study course.

I am a seasoned Leadership and Life Coach with a biblical perspective committed to walking alongside and building up other believers in all aspects of their lives. Working nearly 40 years with New England Financial/MetLife, a global leader in the insurance and financial services industry. With over 25 years in management, it gave me great breadth of leadership experiences. But more importantly those experiences gave me the opportunity to see what can be accomplished when individuals and teams have clarity of purpose and focus, while playing to their strengths.

For years, CBMC has had a biblical view of leadership. Many of us are leaders. Many of us call others to take up leadership in their areas of influence. But it’s one thing to lead and another to develop new leaders. With Christian Coaching skills, we can develop a new wave of businessmen to represent Jesus Christ in businesses and cities, wherever the Lord takes them.

Leadership Coach Training is the intentional development of businessmen to be:

  • empowered by Christ
  • reflect authentic Biblical leadership
  • model connectivity
  • serve within networks
  • and function as a part of a flexible, Spirit-led leadership team.

CBMC Legacy Leadership Coach Training

This 8-week course is a comprehensive, yet accelerated leadership development program that highlights the skills and practices of classic coaching from a Christian perspective. You are going to see Jesus revealed in some extraordinary ways and will experience for yourself the transformational power of faith-based leadership through the use of coaching principles. Christ has always been about coaching and through your faithfulness, you will immerse yourself into a God-sized adventure that will impact every relationship in your life both personally and professionally.

Testimonials

From Jim Hanna, Private Wealth Advisor -

"LCT was practical training that I can use in my business, family, and really all life relationships. The content/curriculum was world class, and the format was even better. Over 8 weeks I was reminded, received feedback and actually practiced implementing the teaching. Ongoing connections with peers and the leader over this extended time helped me get so much out of this course. Thank you!"

From Jim Marmon, Owner, Marmon Commercial Llc. -

“It [Leadership Coach Training] has given me a whole new approach to relationships. I used to think I had to have all the answers. There is a lot of pressure in that. Now I know how to ask powerful questions that help others to discover their own solutions. I believe in people again and actively search for ways and opportunities to coach them.”

From Joel Rudicil, Volunteer Area Leader, CBMC SC Lowcountry -

“I am the Volunteer Area Leader for CBMC SC Lowcountry in South Carolina. Our TAF Team Facilitator went through the Leadership Coach Training and suggested that I do the same. I took his advice and am grateful for the experience. Frankly, I had always thought of myself as a pretty good listener, questioner, goal setter and decisionmaker. I was mistaken. Leadership Coach Training showed me a way to quickly get to the heart of any conversation whether business or personal. I am encouraging all of our present and future area team leaders to experience the Christian Leadership Coach Training offered through CBMC.”

From Chip Upjohn, Ministry Consultant -

“Coach Training has allowed me to draw on the power of "self-conviction" in the coachee to help them achieve their goals. Advise and counseling must rely on the coachee's willingness to act on suggestions and advise offered by others. Where "self-conviction" creates its own motivation.”

From Dennis Wiley, Chairman, Jayhawk Fire Co. -

“Leadership Coach Training has shown me the value of investing in another man’s life, and how simple it is to do. Moving from the transactional to the relational has energized my life. I have purpose, direction, and new skills to develop deeper relationships with my wife, kids, peers, and whomever God puts in my path.”

From John Kliewer, Partner/Sr. Financial Advisor, Beyond Wealth Advisors -

“Leadership Coach Training has taught me how to do for one that which I wish I could do for many. I desire to be the spiritual leader of my family and to develop intentional spiritual friendships. My purpose is to be the man God called me to be by creating the environment where each person I coach can fulfil their God-given potential.”
